FINALLY A GOOD DAGGER UNIT?! - Legendary Shez (M) Review

So, we're getting male Shez as this month's Legendary unit which what I've expected earlier. Alternatively, for a red slot, this could have been someone else like Diamant and Itsuki, yet I've heard that people have been requesting a legendary alt for Shez in a long time, as his female counterpart received one first.

He's a red dagger unit this time, which makes him the fourth Wind Legendary in a row being red, and that he's a player phase unit. So, without further ado, let's jump right into his kit and see if he truly stands out as the best dagger we've got, because dagger units are suffering nowadays.

Legendary Shez (M)

Dual Sword:

  • Slaying
  • Unconditional Brave
  • Dagger 7
  • Inflicts Dull-All On Foes Within 3R & 3C (Max: 12) =  No. Of Combat Instances On Current Turn × 4
Grants the following to unit at start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%:
  • Omni+X (Max: 14) = 5 + No. Of Foes Within 3R & 3C × 3
  • 30% Brave First-Hit DR
  • Tempo

His weapon feels like an improvement from his female counterpart, yet somewhat a trade off at the same time. He missing out Special Acceleration every time he hits, making it harder to trigger Lethality. As a result, he's meant to run low cooldown Specials, and thankfully we have Ruptured Sky to cover it up.

He also doesn't have a Spd check in any of his effects, which is great considering we have many Spd-based units who can't make use of everything due to the Spd creep. Besides, having built-in Tempo is very important because it prevents delaying his Special from triggering.

There's an interesting effect in his weapon, which inflicts all stats on his foes depending on the number of combat instances. What it basically means is that his foes within Shez's range would lose their stats every time someone enters combat: it can be either one of your allies or your enemies, including Shez himself. Bear in mind that these stat penalties will be countered on each independent phase.

Shadow Slide:

  • Aerial Maneuvers Effect
After ally's combat, grants the following:
  • WOM 4
  • PASS
If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally:
  • Inflicts Dull-All -5 On Foe
  • True DMG = 20% Of Unit's Spd
  • 50% DR-Piercing
  • 7 Flat Brave First-Hit DR

He doesn't have an all-weapon effectiveness, which makes me glad as IS has made a mistake by giving it to his female version, and she ruined Rokkr Sieges back in the day.

What really makes him insane is that he has built-in WOM 4 & Pass effects, and they both trigger after his ally's combat, instead of an HP condition. These are very strong effects, and he could be a viable candidate for Galeforce strategies because of this. At the same time, it really makes me worried because he can easily run Emblem Celica's ring, the unit I really despise the most, and how absurd it would be as this Shez is essentially Emblem Celica junior with his ridiculous warping. That's crazy!

Outside of that, his nuking capabilities are as decent as today's nukes.

Pulse Smog

During combat, inflicts the following:
  • Spd/Def-3
  • Guard
  • Scowl
Inflicts the following on foe and other foes within 3 spaces after combat:
  • Atk-7
  • Guard
  • Special Cooldown Count+1

I've anticipated a Tier 4 version of Pulse Smoke to come out, and we finally got one! It essentially turns off Emblem Ike's Great Aether from the Scowl effect, but functions similarly because it increases the Special Cooldown Count of his foes after combat. According to the datamine, it's restricted to only dagger units, which is such a scam and I feel very disappointed for having such a niche fodder.

Lastly, he has Atk/Spd Finish 4 which is already dated, yet it is interchangeable with some better skills.

In general, Shez is a very amazing ranged nuke who's fun to use because of his insane warping ability. He's going to be a menace in all PvP modes, especially in Aether Raids & Arena for scoring. As I mentioned earlier, he can Warp after your initiator has entered combat, and you don't have to worry about Gatekeeper's anti-warp effect anymore. Obviously, he's going to be potent in Defense teams too, where he can simply jump in as long as one of his frontliners survives. In this case, he would synergize really well with Brave Felix who's a Galeforce initiator, and that he take down an extra unit for some overkill power.

Returning Units & Color Share

Red is obviously the only best choice to pull from, with Emblem Ike still reigning supreme as well as Rearmed Lumera, who's his best friend for her outstanding Divine Vein support. In fact, having the Rearmed privilege means that she can duplicate Laguz Friend if you somehow manage to get a duplicate of Ike.

Meanwhile, we've come to Green which is fine, since it has two Legendary units from different seasons, although both of these units are way past their prime on release. Nergal on the other hand, turns out to be really insane for his Essence Drain support, not to mention his excellent fodder. After all, him being on the same banner with Emblem Ike is definitely the cream of the crop as he's the best candidate to have Laguz Friend 4!

Blue has Freyr, who is your mandatory Defense Mythic for Anima season, and let's be real: Elimine won't ever get a good refine next year, because she's not getting away from her war crimes back in her day.  Unfortunately, he's color sharing with 2 mediocre Offense Mythics, one of which is Ratatoskr, who's finally making her first rerun after her 8 month shadow ban and sadly, it's too late for her to be worth merging for: she's not good of a melee nuke, nor a support unit. The same goes for Nerþuz as well.

Finally, colorless has undoubtedly the weakest lineup, with Arval & Yukimura getting outclassed by so many better nuke options. However, Arlen is the exception to this, because he has one of the best fodder we've ever gotten for a normal pool unit, with C Bonus Doubler and Atk/Res Tempo 4.

Final Thoughts + Will I Summon?

Despite Red being stacked in terms of value, I don't think Shez is a must summon, as he might age poorly when his nuking prowess gets outshone by future releases. For now, I would give him credit for his warping ability alone. Given that almost everyone has a copy of Emblem Ike, I think it's safe to skip this banner unless if you're interested in merging up any of these units, or duplicating Laguz Friend 4 via Lumera.

Personally, I'm definitely going to spend orbs on this one, because I need a few more copies of Emblem Ike, who's currently at +2. Speaking of which, looks like he's coming back in December based on the schedule, so I have some time to plan out my spendings. Whereas for Shez, he's color sharing with yet another mediocre Mythic being Kvasir, followed by possibly Niðhöggr as the new Mythic unit to conclude Book 8. Go get him now if you want to as the red pool's value for this month is way better.

Let me know if you're interested in Legendary Shez (M), and as always, be sure to save your orbs from getting snatched by Shez's insane teleportation!

I'M NOW THE GREAT SUMMONER - Getting My First Arena Crown

I did it! I finally did it! For the first time since 4 years of playing Fire Emblem Heroes, I managed to claim my first Arena crown. It happened during Legendary Ninian's bonus season two weeks ago, and it feels like forever trying to get this prized possession, given the amount of powercreep and insane skills we've got over the years.

Anyway, I still can't believe I'm worthy enough to reach this milestone after all the effort I've put into investing my F2P builds, and learning from the community to score as high as possible. Here are these units I've used during my run, and it took me so many trials to finally complete this 5-win streak.

Lumera

She's pretty decent as a F2P sword unit, although we have better options nowadays. I gave her a Spd-based build since last year, back when we used to have godswords as our premiere omni-tanks.

For scoring purposes, I gave her Rally Atk/Spd+ as well as Vital Astra from Ascended Mareeta. I also gave her Emblem Marth's ring so that she can trigger her Special easily. The rest of her skills however, are pretty outdated according to today's standards, because she can't effectively use her Spd to survive most of the modern threats.

Therefore, I would use her for nuking purposes only, even though today's meta has already been shifted to omni-tanking. Atk/Spd Ideal 4 as well as Spd Smoke 4 is already mediocre, but still, it's here for scoring purposes. Then, I gave her Close Call 4 for some Spd-based damage-reduction, together with Spd Smoke 4. Finally, she has the recent NFU seal because her weapon lacks this particular effect.

Murdock

His weapon was great on release because of Distant Counter, yet at a cost of no damage-reduction in his weapon. Thankfully, I've compensated that by giving him Emblem Ike's ring, and now he's super reliant on his stat bonuses for tanking, with Distant Def 4 granting bonuses to his Def/Res. He's super effective if you spam Rally on him, and from what I recall, he survived Valentine's Myrrh once.

Special Fighter 4 allows him to get over Fatal Smoke 4 a bit with some post-combat healing, and having Special Acceleration would make triggering Aether easier, followed by built-in Guard. Finally, Bold Fighter 3 is the closest I can get for an armor Sacred Seal for more Special Acceleration.

Murdock's pretty solid as my go-to Save unit, but he has struggled against most of the highly invested premium threats from the enemy team, like Emblem Celica (this abomination) and Ninja Sanaki.

Elice

She's turns out to be a very good staff unit, and has carried me though via her nuking capabilities, which are pretty strong.

First, I gave her Arcane Charmer for some post-combat healing to her allies, some Flat DMG & Special Acceleration for charging up Glitter of Light. It's still a very useful Special nowadays because she can inflict the Sweep effect onto the enemy team, as long as one of them doesn't have NCD. Also, she has Still Water 4 because of her high Res, making her a viable candidate for running Ploy 3.

Of all my F2P units, Elice is the best by far because she can not only function as a formidable nuke, but she can also work as my only movement assist if needed, while healing my team simultaneously.

Legendary Ninian

Ninian is still one of the best refreshers to grace the game, and it's no doubt that her refine in next year would make her even better. Since it was her bonus season, I decided to make some changes to her kit for higher scoring, even though it's already optimal for a general unit.

She now has Blue Flame as her Special. She could have Dragon's Roar and High Dragon Wall on her B skill, but they're both too expensive and it's not worth passing them to a refresher like her. In my case, I gave her Firestorm Dance 3 from Spring Triandra for Desperation support, and she can still Canto without having to run Near Trace.

Finally, I simply slotted in Joint Drive Atk for the same reason, as I couldn't think of a better C skill for her. Incite Atk/Spd, perhaps?

Overall, I think she's already good as she is. Being able to self-refresh after refreshing another ally sounds pretty strong, and even if she's not supposed to work as a nuke, she can choose to retreat after granting her ally another action, which adds some flexibility. It works pretty well in situations where you would like to stay away from long ranged units, especially those with Celica's ring.

Conclusion

To think that I could get myself an Arena Crown after so long is absolutely amazing. However, for what the future holds, I think it's going to be extremely difficult to get another Crown like this for the upcoming seasons.

It's a shame that I don't have Legendary Guinivere for last week's season, which is about to end. Guess I'll have to try my best going back to Tier 21 for the next season. This time, it's looks pleasant to me because not only Legendary Camilla is back, but I can still use Ninian for being a Ver. 6 unit.

As always, be sure to save your orbs!

THE LEGENDS ARE BACK - CYL 8 Summons

Brave Heroes are back to change the game, and I've done a full summoning session on this exciting banner, followed by my free pick.

So without further ado, let's dive deep into some of my fascinating summons.

Report #17

16th August - I started off with 313 orbs and all 4 tickets. As usual, I will be pulling on full circles. My innovative approach to the CYL event would be to spend until I reach the spark on 40 summons, where I'll be claiming my top pick. Then, I'll save my free pull for the second-best choice so that I can walk away with at least 2 Brave Heroes.

As stated from my last post, Alfonse will be my top pick as I desperately need another BOL4 support for one of my omni-tank teams. Meanwhile, Robin's Divine Vein (Ice) effect sounds very interesting, and it could provide some useful insights for strengthening my AR-Defense.

It's not the latest CYL unit, but I got Brave Gullveig on the 13th pull, who's still decent for Galeforce strategies. Alas, I already own a copy of her a year ago, and outside of Aether Raids, she's mediocre as a nuke who gets outclassed by her Summer counterpart. Therefore, she becomes Flared Sparrow fodder for my Rearmed Tana.

Then, here comes Isadora on my back-to-back 14th pull, whom I don't have yet. Frankly, I've completely forgot what she does in the game, yet from what I can recall, she used to be a decent support unit back on release, albeit not the best one.

Needless to say, for both of these units, I wished one of them could be Bernadetta though.

The rates were not looking great, as I went back to 3.50%. However, I managed to get Brave Alfonse just before finishing off the circle on the 30th summon. What a relief that I got him in the middle of the session - I was starting to think my luck was already going downhill since the last one.

No one showed up after 40 summons, so now I can take Robin home with the spark.

Back to my free pull, I was torn between choosing Bernadetta or Felix. In the end, I decided to go with the latter - better have him on my barracks now before I would deal with him as a terrifyingly annoying enemy unit.

Don't worry Bernie! You'll still have a chance to come home in the next 4 months, at least for what the meta would hold.

Summary

Overall, the result wasn't as promising as my previous pulls, yet I still feel grateful to have brought three of these new meta monsters home. It's good that they introduced a free unit of our choice to help us deal with the powercreep.

Next up, we're getting a DSH banner on the 23rd of this month, which might feature Young Emmeryn in colorless. I initially considered saving for her, but I think my Bridal Lapis is just fine as a WOM beacon on AR-D, via Celica's ring & Hardy Bearing. She turns out to be insane with some careful positioning and the right units, including my Duo Robin's who can offer Hush Spectrum support.

So I've abandoned that thought and decided to focus on saving for my Emblem Ike merge project instead, since he's coming back at the end of this month. Even though he may fall from his days, this merge project serves as a testament to his triumphant return as not only one of FEH's most insane omni-tanks, but a beloved lord of the entire franchise who truly deserves this level of greatness. As the saying goes, powercreep gets powercrept, while favorites are forever.

As always, thank you so much for checking out my summons, and be sure to save your orbs!

THE NEW META - Thoughts on Choose Your Legends 8

Here it is. The biggest moment we're all anticipating for - Choose Your Legends 8 is here at last!

Every year, these units would bring game-changing components that shape how we play Fire Emblem Heroes. From Duo Lyon's downfall to Emblem Ike's unshakable dominance, we can only expect the powercreep to keep escalating with these winners

So, without further ado, let's jump straight into my first impressions of these top-voted fan-favorites, and discover their potential impact on the meta.

Robin (F) (2nd Place - Women's Division)

She's dressed just like her male counterpart last year, which I'm not surprised since they've done a similar case with the Byleths' Legendary alts before. Her artwork is quite amazing, and big praises go to Wada Sachiko's for another masterpiece.

Sadly, not giving her a Levin Sword really raises many people's eyebrows, but at least she's a colorless infantry mage this time.

Exalt's Tactics:

  • Slaying
Applies Divine Vein (Ice) under 2 conditions, when no Divine Vein (Ice) gets applied by unit or allies:
  • 2 Spaces Away From Target If Unit Uses Assist Skills;
  • 2 Spaces Away From Unit After Unit Acts Or When In AR-Defense
    • This excludes Warp Spaces from Rival Domains, spaces occupied by foes & other destructible terrain

Divine Vein (Ice):

  • Impassable Terrain For All Foes
  • Can Be Destroyed
  • Can Be Occupied By Unit & Allies, Who Can Still Be Hit Over The Terrain
Grants the following to unit at start of combat if unit's HP ≥ 25%:
  • Inflicts Atk/Spd/Res On Foe (Max: 14) = 5 + No. Of Allies Within 3R & 3C × 3
  • Stat Penalty Neutralization
  • Null-Guard
  • 50% DR-Piercing

So Brave Robin (F) introduces a new type of Divine Vein effect, which acts as obstacles for your enemies. This is going to be your defensive terrain against Emblem Celica as well as her ring effect because she's unable to reach you with Warp Ragnarok, and that she has to destroy these icy obstacles first.

Keep in mind that she's still be able to reach you if you position yourself adjacent to the ice terrain effect or occupying it, and thus, it's not actually a hard counter to her.

For her usual passives, she has Flare & Atk/Spd Finish 4, and she has a preferred B skill

According to Plan:

Grants the following to unit & allies within 2 spaces at start of turn, if unit's HP ≥ 25%:
  • Atk/Spd+6
  • Canto (1)
  • Inflicts Hush Spectrum & Panic On The Closest Foes & Any Foe Within 2 Spaces
Grants the following to unit at start of combat if unit's HP ≥ 25%:
  • Inflicts Atk/Spd/Res-5 On Foe
  • Deals Flat DMG (Max: 25) = X × 5
  • Brave Flat DR (Max: 15) = X × 3
    • X = No. Of Bonus Effects + No. Of Penalty Effects Active On Unit

She can inflict Hush Spectrum like her Duo counterpart, yet it's weaker in comparison because she cannot self-refresh, probably as a compromise with the newly implemented Divine Vein (Ice). But still, she can nuke quite hard with that Flat DMG, and she'll never be a good nuke without it.

Lastly, she has yet another variant for Time's Pulse 4, which is Creation Pulse. Unlike the former, it's completely different because you get Special Cooldown Count-2 at max based on the number of Penalty effects active on foe. It's a little bit iffy personally, considering we have Freyr & Attuned Micaiah who can cleanse Penalty effects, so Time's Pulse 4 is still the ideal choice for me.

Overall, Robin turns out to be impressive as a nuke & support, especially that Divine Vein effect which proves to be a bane for most players currently using Emblem Celica and her ring. Speaking of which, I can tell she's going to be excellent in Summoner Duels, and AR-Defense especially where she's built for the latter. You could run her in Offense teams too, where she'll help to prevent nukes who are equipped with Celica's ring from warping in instantly, and taking out one of your support units.

Felix (2nd Place - Men's Division)

Levin Sword is finally added to the game, and Felix is the first to wield this overdue weapon. I can sense a wave of disappointment from the community, given that Robin should be the wielder instead. But still, it's better than having no Levin Sword at all.

Besides, he's a savant class unit, which I've heard is best fit for his role in Three Houses.

New Levin Sword

  • Double Slaying
  • Distant Counter
  • Adaptive Damage
Grants the following to unit at start of combat, if foe's HP ≥ 75% or if number of adjacent allies ≤ 1:
  • Omni+5
  • True Omni = 15% Of Unit's Spd
  • Null Guard
  • 50% DR-Piercing
This weapon description looks incredibly short, and plainly generic. Yet fear or not, there's more to come with his melee prowess.

Lone Wolf:

  • Phantom Spd
Unit can Self-Refresh under 2 conditions:
  • Enters Combat
  • Already Acted Without Entering Combat
Grants the following to unit at start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25% or if number of adjacent allies ≤ 1:
  • Dull Omni-5 On Foe
  • True DMG (incl. AOEs) = 20% Of Unit's Spd
  • Flat DR = 20% Of Unit's Spd
  • Flat Special DR (incl. AOEs) = 20% Of Unit's Spd

This is somewhat a hybrid unit, and his preferred skill is what makes him formidable on his own. He's somehow better as a player phase unit than enemy phase because of the action-economy, and that he can hit extremely hard with more True DMG, and become hardier with some nice Flat DR. This counts AOEs unlike other Flat DR effects we've seen.

Usually, you'll position your units to a certain spot and they'll end their respective actions, yet Felix is the exception to this: he breaks the movement rule of Fire Emblem! I can't believe we're getting similar units like this who would make Legendary Chrom obsolete in the future!

With this, he's turns out to be a worth-noting candidate for Emblem Celica's ring. Together with Double Slaying, it opens up more Galeforce strategies, and Felix can be a possible Fury 4 initiator in Aether Raids. Alternatively, you can run an AOE build on him to get the best out of his Slaying effect, and he can even function as an insane hit-and-run nuke, but without Canto which is nice as you'll not get affected by Canto Control. I wonder if his self-refresh ability can be stopped by Traps though.

Lastly, Atk/Spd Excel as well as the newly introduced Endless Tempest are a perfect combination that bolsters his offensive capabilities further. Endless Tempest marks the beginning of Tier 4 versions of Tempest skills which now grants unconditional extra movement as well as an Omni-Clash effect, followed by a Dull effect. I know there's a certain boar who would enjoy his entire kit!

In essence, Felix can do literally anything, and he can certainly do better than other units in their respective niches. I think he's going to be a strong candidate for all new players who don't have many modern options. You want a good tank but you don't have Emblem Ike? There, Felix; You want a formidable nuke who can retreat easily? There, Felix; You want to do either Galeforce or AOE but you don't have anyone to cover up either of them? There, Felix! He's incredibly useful in a crap ton of strategies, which sounds insane for a single unit alone, and that would save you lots of orbs because you don't need to get others with similar roles!

Because of that, Brave Felix is a must have for any newcomer. There's no denying that he'll carry you through a ton of game modes, whether it's PvE or PvP!

Bernadetta (1st Place - Women's Division)

Our first colored bow in ages, and it's finally here since Brave Lyn. Bernadetta's a blue bow cavalry unit and her design is pretty much a safe choice that fits her war arc. Nothing much to say about the design outside of her nice artwork.

The Inexhaustible:

  • Canto (Dist. Max: 3)
  • Slaying
  • Flier Effectiveness
  • Unconditional Brave
Grants the following if unit initiates combat or if unit has an active Bonus effect:
  • Omni+5
  • True Omni = 15% Of Unit's Spd
  • True DMG = 20% Of Unit's Spd
  • 50% DR-Piercing

She managed to snatch that bow from Indech, huh? Nice paralogue reference for her. Anyway, her weapon is alright on paper, but there's nothing crazy in particular.

We now have a new inheritable Special for bows after Deadeye, and that is Curved Shot.

Curved Shot:

  • Boost Special DMG By 30% Of Foe's Higher Spd Or Def
  • 40% Unpierceable DR If Whoever's Special Is Ready Or Triggered
It's a 2 Cooldown Special which grants you some decent unpierceable DR that's ideal for tanky units with DR-effects like Shinon & Legendary Claude. For Bernie, it synergizes decently with her Brave hits, so she can trigger it twice.

She's mainly functioning as a pure-ranged nuke, and you won't want to run Atk/Spd Prime 4 because it's worthless nowadays. You could swap out with Flared Sparrow, or even better Life & Death which is readily accessible because her damage output is reliant on her Spd.

Plus, Assassin's Strike is her only B-slot option for now until we get better B skills for nukes because BOL4 is everywhere.

Not only that, she can work as a decent support unit with Paranoia in her C slot.

Paranoia:

Grants the following to unit & allies within 2 spaces at start of turn:
  • Null Follow-Up (Unit Only)
  • Paranoia
  • 1 Chip DMG

Paranoia (Effect):

If unit's not at full HP during combat, grants the following:
  • Atk+5
  • Desperation
  • Vantage, if No. Of Penalty Effects Active On Foe ≥ 3, Or At Equal Range (Excl. Saves)
To foes within 5 spaces & other foes within 2 spaces of them at start of turn:
  • Reflects All Active Penalty Effects On Herself
Grants the following to unit at start of combat, if not full HP:
  • Atk/Spd+5
  • Null Guard

Just like her other alts, she's going to deal chip damage to herself and allies in order to make the most of it, which is still ridiculous. You need to be at below full HP for Desperation, when you could get it from Ursula for free. Whereas for Vantage, it's even restrictive because your enemy team can cleanse those Penalty effects for himself anyway, even though Bernie can reflect them.

Therefore, she's here for a specific niche that I won't say it's bad, but it isn't applicable for everyone. But, if you have Young Emmeryn in your barracks, she's undoubtedly her best friend, particularly in AR-Defense because she can heal after the chip DMG, turning herself into a WOM beacon and make your defense a rally trap, or I should say, an Emmeryn trap. Bernadetta also can function as a WOM support in Galeforce teams on AR-Offense, and she's decent in Summoner Duels & Arena for her role-compression.

Despite all of this, I'm afraid that she might be the weakest candidate of the group, and I envision her to age poorly, and that her support may no longer be useful in the long term. For now, she's quite strong as a unit.

Alfonse (1st Place - Men's Division)

He's dressed up like his dad which makes sense for him to be the next ruler of Askr. This time, he's an axe cavalry wielding his father's weapon.

Majestic Glitnir:

  • Canto (Dist. Max: 4)
  • Slaying
Grants the following to unit if there is an ally within 3R & 3C:
  • Def/Res+6
  • Extra Movement
  • Quickened Pulse
Grants the additional following to unit if there is an ally within 3R & 3C or if unit initiates combat:
  • Def/Res+X
  • Inflicts Def/Res-X on Foe
    • X (Max: 14) = 5 + No. Of Allies Within 3R & 3C × 3
  • True DMG (Excl. AOEs) = 10% Of Unit's Def
  • True DR (Excl. AOEs) = 10% Of Unit's Def
  • Full DR-Piercing On Special
  • Time's Pulse 4

Alfonse gets a lot of bulk from his weapon, and he's also a potent melee nuke at the same time, with his True DMG & True DR effects. Those are really nice, but his Special contains a totally unique effect that we've never seen before.

Makings Of A King:

  • Boosts DMG By 30% Of Unit's Def + Def [Great Talent]
  • Flat Unpierceable DR = 40 - (10 × Current Special Cooldown Count Value)
Grants the following at start of turn:
  • Atk/Def/Res [Great Talent] +2 (Unit Only)
  • Atk/Def/Res [Great Talent] +1 (Allies Within 3R & 3C Only)
After combat, if unit's Special triggered, grants the following:
  • Atk/Def/Res [Great Talent] +4 (Unit Only)
  • Atk/Def/Res [Great Talent] +3 (Allies Within 3R & 3C Only)

Great Talent:

  • Permanent Additional Stats
  • Can Be Stacked
  • Does Not Count As Stat Bonuses
  • Max Cap: +20 To Unit & +10 To Allies

This is a very amazing support effect that grants you increased stats on your map, and those are permanent stats, so it cannot be neutralized by Lull Skills or stolen by Tina or Nergal. Besides that, it's giving both Alfonse and his allies some extra bulk with this kind of stat boost, making them harder to be taken down by other units.

It's what differentiates Alfonse from your typical melee cavalry units, as he can work as both an omni-tank, nuke and support. In fact, we could see this effect being implemented to future releases.

He has two new inheritable passives in his kit, one of which is Fortifications. It's basically yet another Fort. Def/Res variant, which is ironic because we already have Heiðrún not long ago with Stronghold, and then IS suddenly decides to depreciate her fodder value by putting a stronger version of it into the mix. Now, she has to run that skill because it offers Divine Vein (Stone) support and Flat Special DR by 10, making her support capabilities better.

Next, we have Reopening as an upgraded version of Guard 4. Even though Guard is useless nowadays, it offers you some decent value with True DMG & Flat DR based on your unit's Def, which are valuable for some high Def units like Alfonse himself since those effects can stack with each other.

Lastly, he's the second-unit to have BOL 4, which helps you substantially to counter against Duo Lyon and other burn damage nukes.

Overall, Alfonse proves to be a very bulky omni-tank cavalry unit being able to grant some invaluable support with his unique permanent stat boosts. He can even hit hard with his full DR-Piercing, followed by True DMG, and that he can loop his Special after combat which is unseen in a cavalry unit, making him ideal for Galeforce strategies in AR-Offense. Also, he can work in Summoner Duels where he fits nicely in raid boss teams as well as Pathfinder teams. With his permanent stat boosts and a ton of DR, he's going to be really hard to take out, and therefore, our main protagonist is the clear winner of this year's batch.

However, as we begin receiving units granting permanent stat boosts, I'd expect a counter in the near future, which could inflict permanent stat debuffs to your team. It's going to work the opposite to Grand Talent, so keep that in mind as his support would eventually be not as useful as he currently does.

Grand Hero Battle - Panette

We now have a Grand Hero Battle unit from Engage, and it's not one of the Four Hounds this time. It's none other than Panette. This time, she has a preferred weapon that grants Time's Pulse 3 to herself and nearby allies, similar to Askr's C skill.

She can tank quite well with her True-Omni, and she can hit hard with her Flat DMG reflection, together with True DMG. For a Grail unit, this is pretty strong, and Panette is one of my favorites in Engage. Because of this, I'm definitely building her up, but it would mean offering Laguz Friend 4 from Emblem Ike, whom I'll be merging gradually to +10.

Final Thoughts + My Top Picks

This year's Choose Your Legends has by far the most insane level of powercreep we've ever gotten. All four of these heroes have brought new aspects that would change the game.

Alfonse introduces a never-before-seen powerful support & gimmick, whereas Robin's Divine Vein (Ice) is going to be a nuisance to handle with. Felix turns out to be quite annoying if you're facing him because not only he breaks the end-action rule, but he can easily take down your support units once he survives. And finally, Bernadetta is surprisingly hardy enough to survive most threats, even though she might be the weakest CYL unit. Talking about someone who's supposed to be built for nuking alone.

In my case, Alfonse is going to be my top pick because I need another BOL 4 support for one of my omni-tank teams, whereas my second pick goes to Robin. I could experiment her new Divine Vein effect on my AR-Defense, and her Hush Spectrum effect still turns out pretty strong.

Because of this, it's no surprise that I'll be spending on this banner like most players would, followed by a free pick. This banner is certainly packed with everybody's favorites, but since it's a New Heroes banner, I would advise against merging up one of your favorites to +10 because next year's Golden Week would provide better rates than this.

As always, thank you so much for reading my thoughts on this year's CYL, and I wish you the best of luck with your chosen heroes! We all deserve to enjoy our favorites.

LYON NO MORE - NCD Echo & Canto Control 4 Summons

The moment we've all been waiting for is finally here - Duo Lyon's reign of end-action terror has come to an end, thanks to Firm Canto Curb. This skill is literally a gamechanger because it's a direct hard-counter to him as well as Seiðr, whom were frequently used in several game modes for their gimmicks.

When the skill was first revealed, I thought it would be funnier if I could make him even more irrelevant. That's when I decided to spend on Attuned Eirika's banner for NCD Echo, which I'll be passing on to Attuned Caeda. She got even better with her Attuned privilege, capable of countering Sweep effects without having to run NCD4 on her B slot.

After that, I would spend 155 orbs on full circles on the Hoshidan Summer banner, particularly for Lucia herself as her fodder is too tempting for me to pass, and that she's by far the only limited-time unit I choose not to save in my reserves.

So, get ready as we dive deep into my summoning session on both of these banners, reflecting on how Lyon's influence to the meta has curbed, for what the future holds.

Report #15

6th August - Since I spent my free summon and tickets before hand, the pulls might incur a bit more cost this time. That explains why I accumulated 5 pulls as shown. However, since I had 302 orbs, I reckoned it was enough for me to get the units I wanted. As usual, I prayed for the best from full circles.

Niðavellir turns out to be amazing as both an AOE hit-and-run nuke & support, for accelerating Specials of his nearby allies from the start. Eirika on the other hand, is not just NCD Echo fodder, but I could get myself a solid god axe after not getting Nabata Altina from her debut banner..

Upon reaching the 9th pull, I got Niðavellir who made me thrilled! I was definitely not expected to get him so soon, because he's colorless. I wish he has a preferred Special incorporated into his kit though, and to rub salt into the wound, he lacks a C skill. Therefore, I will give him Def/Res Smoke 4 from my Khadein Linde so that he grants Pathfinder support after combat.

Even though I got lucky on the Divine Beasts banner, it appears I wasn't done yet because Attuned Eirika decided to join the ranks on the 22nd pull! I was over the moon with excitement - my pulls were nothing short of amazing, especially before spark. There were some colorless orbs and a green orb left, so I figured I might as well round up my session with an extra copy of Niðavellir or Eirika.

Maybe I could get more of that pity rate, yet I was wrong. I got Fallen Rhea on the 24th pull, and she's not as good as she used to be. Meanwhile, the last green orb was merely a demote Shez.

Report #16

7th August -  It was the next day and the latest Special Heroes had been released. With my remaining orbs, plus the login bonus, my goal was to get at least a copy of Lucia on spark. I had a feeling that my luck would take a nosedive after the RNG spree I just had, but still, it would be nice if I could snag a copy of Nephenee on red.

16 summons in, and I reached 3.75% pity rate, which doesn't look good. However, I managed to get a copy of Yukata Lucia, and this sounds for instant fodder for one of my infantry units. Her C skill is so nuts, and I can't imagine what would it be like, if neither Duo Lyon nor Seiðr ever existed.

Then, I got Ascended Ishtar after 27 pulls. Her fodder isn't great anymore, and she's next in line for her re-appearance in Weekly Revival banners. For Ishtar fans, it's quite a long while for her to get a refine - if she ever receives it at all.

After that, I got Hoshidan Summer Leo on the second-last pull, and for generic demotes like him in general, I'm not planning to use him, but Fatal Smoke 3 might come in handy though.

Initially, I considered getting another copy of Lucia for more FCC fodder options, but I thought one should be enough, as this skill works the same if Lyon and Seiðr aren't present. Therefore, I went for Nephenee instead on spark.

Bonus: Hero Fest Summons

Before wrapping it up, I wanted to share a few pulls from the updated Hero Fest banner. It wasn't a full summoning session since I only used the 5 tickets I had, plus a few extra orbs on blue & green to get some good value whilst keeping my limit.

Here, I managed to get a copy of Winter Edelgard and Duo Lyon, followed by Monica as a pity breaker.

Conclusion

For both banners, I feel satisfied since I managed to get my desired units. It seems that my luck was better in Attuned Eirika's banner compared to the other one. I could have reached 40 summons there and grab Amelia on spark, but Saves are still terrible in my opinion.

Not long after, I checked my Defense results on Anima season, and I was totally shocked - I lost to Amelia often. Even with my best nukes, and using what I've learnt from Infantry Pulse's videos, Amelia somehow managed to survive them all. Good grief, she's quite formidable with the right units!

Because of that, I feel regretful for not getting her in the last day, as she could have been a strong candidate for my Offense team, complementing well with Emblem Ike for instance, to create a hybrid omni-tank save ball that's used frequently according to my records.

How did it go with your summons? Now that Lyon's done, I hope Emblem Ike isn't next in line: my favorite lord truly deserves a redemption arc for a longer term, because the rest of his alts are just horrible in terms of performance!

As always, thank you so much for checking out my double summoning session, and be sure to save your orbs for CYL8!

THE END OF END ACTIONS?! - Hoshidan Summer Banner 2024 Review

We finally receive a trailer for this year's Hoshidan Summer, which is already revealed in the FEH Channel. I've already talked about my first impressions on these units from my last post, so without further ado, let's see what these fan favorites have in store.

Hoshidan Summer Mia

Summertime Axe

  • Canto (Rem. +1)
  • Slaying
  • Omni+5
Grants the following to unit for 1 turn if unit's HP ≥ 25% at start of turn:
  • Spd/Def/Res+6
  • Iote's Shield
  • 50% DR-Piercing
Grants the following to unit if unit's HP ≥ 25% at start of combat:
  • True-Omni = 15% of Unit's Spd
  • Null Guard
  • Flat DMG (Max: 30; Excl. AOEs) = X × 5
  • Flat DR From All Hits (Max: 18; Excl. AOEs) = X × 3
  • Additional Flat DR Against Foes' Specials (Max: 18; Excl. AOEs) = X × 3
    • Where X = No. Of Bonus Status Effects Active On Unit & Foe
  • 7 HP Healing Post Combat

Overall, she's going to very bulky with her visible bonuses to all stats similar to Fury, and she can hit and tank quite hard depending on the number of Bonus status effects. But then, it depends on which team you want to slot her in as Nergal's her best friend thanks to Essence Drain. Bear in mind that she could face opposing teams who also have Nergal, and that he can steal those effects from her as well.

The fact that she can cut through DR in half is similar to Legendary Camilla's support effect, but it's widespread among other units too.

She has a good synergy with Pegasus Rift, a new B skill that is similar to Wyvern Rift but it swaps out Def for Res. It's going to be valuable for most Res-based fliers like Chloe, as they are getting the most out of their Res for some unpierceable Flat DR, and that foes can barely perform follow-ups.

Lastly, she has Spd/Def Prime 4 as another Prime skill variant, alas no longer a viable option for a melee frontliner like her since the neutralization of Bonus status effects is getting widespread. She's going to be another user of A/S Rein Snap which is decent fodder.

Mia is built to be a hardy omni-tank, and she's going to excel in AR-Offense, where she has the flier privilege to bypass difficult terrain. She could work in Summoner Duels & Arena outside of that, yet she's not going to be at Emblem Ike's level. In general, she's going to open more flier frontliner options into the mix. You can go for her either if she's your favorite, or if you need that archetype.

Hoshidan Summer Lucia

Breezy Spear

  • Atk+3
  • Distant Counter
  • Omni+5
  • Omni+X = 15% Of Unit's Spd
  • True DMG = 20% Of Unit's Spd
  • 7 HP Healing Post Combat
For Both Unit & Foe, inflicts the following during combat:
  • No Special Triggering
  • Feud
  • No Defensive Terrain Effects
  • No Support Effects
  • No NFU
  • No NCD
  • Hardy Bearing

It works almost the same as base Lucia's weapon, but as a side upgrade. Notice that her weapon lacks the usual DR effect, as it's covered by A/S Bulwark 4. Again, I would rather have Laguz Friend 4, Godlike Reflexes & Emblem Ike's Ring than this waste of slot.

And then, we have a Tier 4 version of Canto Control: Firm Canto Curb. Not only does it restrict foes' Canto effects like the Tier 3 version, but it has this one effect that makes me question if the developers really care the game's balance at all.

"Prevents 'after start of skills trigger, action ends immediately' status effects from being inflicted on unit & allies within 3 spaces of unit."

"For unit and allies within 3 spaces of unit, neutralizes effects that would end their action as a result of foes' skills..."

Am I reading it correctly? This skill has reached to the most absurd levels of powercreep: just like when Elimine got hard-countered by Freyr's "Dream Deliverer" last year, Duo Lyon gets shafted horribly at this point, and he's not even a year old!

I thought Lyon has already reached his limit after BOL 4, but no, FEH decides to make him suffer even more! This skill essentially shuts down both his end-action status infliction after combat, as well as his Duo button. As a result, he's becoming a generic cavalry nuke right now. How the mighty have already fallen after a short while!

I know his end-action effect is already toxic on its own, but the answer to it has gone way too far, as players who use him often would reach a point where he'll render completely useless outside of PvE. Even Fatal Smoke 4 can't save him any longer because of BOL 4.

It's not just Lyon who's victimized, Seiðr as well as her New Year counterpart got hit quite hard as well in AR-Offense. Assuming this skill is prevalent in Defense teams, she'll no longer reign in Astra season, and that Galeforce strategies are getting harder to conduct. Regardless, this skill's mainly here to hard-counter Duo Lyon in Summoner Duels, so I think many people would slot it in for that purpose.

Compared to her base version, Lucia still works the same, and so she needs higher investment in order to function properly as an omni-tank. Regardless, that one crazy skill alone is the tasty carrot that dangles in front of many players. I'm at loss for words, and I can't believe that IS would be kind enough to create this hell of an abomination after 2 months!

P.S How ironic it is that this skill is released right after they ditch Lyon into the Hero Fest! I'm starting to regret spending a little bit on that banner though.

Hoshidan Summer Leo

Juicy Basketful+:

Grants the following to unit for 1 turn if unit's HP ≥ 25% at start of turn:
  • Atk+6
  • Guaranteed Follow-Up
Grants the following to unit if unit's HP ≥ 25% at start of combat:
  • Omni+4
  • Flat DMG (Max: 25; Excl. AOEs) = No. Of Bonus Status Effects On Unit × 5

Being a colorless tome demote doesn't provide that many inheritance options, because there are quite a few demotes in this category. However, he has Still Water 3 & Fatal Smoke 3 as decent build-up fodder options.

The weapon is not that good though, yet it's the closest we can get for an inheritable colorless tome. I hope that an Arcane version of it gets released soon.

Hoshidan Summer Nephenee + Sakura

Fluttering Fan:

  • Slaying
Grants the following to unit if there is an ally within 3R & 3C:
  • True Omni (Max: 14, Works On Difficult Terrain & Divine Vein Effects) = 5 + No. Of Foes Within 3R& 3C × 3
  • Dull Spd/Res
  • Special Acceleration By 1 Before Unit's 1st Hit & Unit's 1st Follow-Up
  • Deals +10 Special Flat DMG (If HP ≤ 99%)
  • Sweep (If Unit's Spd > Foe's Spd)
For allies within 3R & 3C:
  • Null Guard
  • Special Acceleration By 1 Before 1st Hit
  • Deals +10 Special Flat DMG (If HP ≤ 99%)

I think she's going to be a very strong nuke and decent support unit, as she gets as many bonuses to all stats as she needs to hit harder, and it's automatically treated as max if she's in a Divine Vein effect or defensive terrain which looks very strong. As seen in the teaser, she gets to accelerate her Special first before she hits, which helps to get over Scowl effects from Myrrh.

The only problem in her weapon is her Sweep effect, which is conditional as she needs to meet the Spd check, and it gives her trouble in the long run because more new units can outspeed her. Let's not forget that NCD is everywhere since the last New Heroes banner.

What's more, having Resonance combines her weapon really well to get the extra Flat DMG for her Special, and while Spd/Res Crux makes your team easier to do follow-ups, Deadly Miasma can be a decent alternative to improve her combat prowess.

Additionally, we're getting Atk/Spd Mastery as a variant of Catch skills, but this time, it's restricted to fliers. You basically get built-in Canto (2) and more Atk/Spd bonuses, which is really helpful as you can reserve your B slot for something else.

Lastly, her Harmonic Button grants Atk/Spd+6, extra movement as well as Penalty status neutralization to all allies from the same titles as her. It's something we've seen before in Attuned Micaiah's support, but I wish they could just merge Path of Radiance & Radiant Dawn into one entry instead so that Emblem Ike can make good use of it.

Overall, Nephenee can hit like a truck, and I reckon she's the first nuke being able to counter Scowl effects. She's going to be a menace in Aether Raids & Summoner Duels, especially on flier-lines. However, her damage output is not going to best out Ike, and we may be getting similar units like her in the future, and that we'll come to the point where Scowl starts to meet its downfall.

Final Thoughts + Will I Summon?

If not for that skill alone, I would have skipped this banner as these units don't really impact the game in a certain way. However, I know many people have been keenly waiting for Mia and Nephenee getting their alts, so if these are your favorites, then go ahead acquiring a copy of each.

We all know that CYL8 is coming less than a week away, where we'll get Brave units who would bring something new to the table yearly. Therefore, I would recommend waiting for the Brave banner instead, and see what's going to show up as it's going to be better than the currently released units.

Usually, I would save up some Special Heroes that I'm not using, yet I can't resist offering that fodder from Lucia. After all, I'm not planning to use her anyway because she's merely a side upgrade requiring a lot of investment. I might as well spark for her and slot her skill in AR-Defense, particularly in Anima season to counteract Seiðr's end action effect.

Let me know if you're interested in any of these units, and be sure to save your orbs from getting end actioned!

CHANNEL IS OKAY...I GUESS? - Thoughts on August 2024 FEH Channel

A FEH Channel before the announcement of Choose Your Legends is quite expected for most people, as part of the so-called Summer Celebration. We've gotten some decent rewards as well as a teaser for the upcoming Special Heroes, in which their details should be revealed tomorrow.

So, without further ado, let's jump into the topics that are covered.

Summer Celebration Rewards

The cumulative rewards are decent at best, even though we get the same amount of orbs like last year. We're also getting a free Forma soul, which is a saving grace when it comes to getting highly-invested builds at a lower cost.

One of the rewards that should be taken note of is that we're getting double the amount of tickets for the 4* Special Heroes Special Rate Banner compared to last year, and as usual, via beating the Special Hero Maps. Trying to fill in the catalog, huh?

After all, I'd like it better if they could just shove in more units into the pool, given that we're getting refines for such heroes at an alarmingly slow pace.

GHB Revivals

They only cover the first part of Book 8, but some of these heroes are very strong when under high investment, such as Validar and Fallen Lloyd. It's a good opportunity for getting an extra copy of one of your favorites, saving you a ton of Heroic Grails.

Skill Focus Revivals

Another celebration, another set of useless skill banners, in which we typically don't care for. After all, most of the focus heroes have either mediocre fodder or just straight up feathers.

STACKED HERO FEST

Here it comes, the new Hero Fest banner, the one we're all waiting for, and what a pretty stacked banner it is! Most of the units shown are holding up quite well in today's meta, and I would definitely encourage new players to summon a copy of each, if you want to delve into today's competitive standards.

Firstly, Valentine's Lyon's appearance is a shocker to us all, and if it's not because of BOL 4, this could have been a must-summon for all new players. His end-action gimmick is still terrifying after combat, followed by his Duo button. I would give him a Miracle build (w/Magic Gambit & Marth's ring) for that niche alone so that he survives, and inflicts that end-turn status effect. He may eventually fall off in the future, but I don't have words for that gimmick alone, which would make other newbies quit.

Then, we have Winter Edelgard, who is what I would call, your thoughtless fun-to-use unit for PvE. In terms of PvP however, she's still solid for Galeforce strategies in AR-Offense, yet it's hard to use Galeforce nowadays. Let's not forget that she suffers from intense powercreep like her Summer counterpart, as she struggles to kill certain units like Emblem Ike & Heiðrún because of their Flat DR.

Attuned Triandra is here as a representative of how refreshers have evolved up to this point. Being an Attuned unit gives new players some insight on duplicating fodder, yet her Attuned skill isn't the best Echo skill, now that we have so many other options. Because of BOL 4, her burn damage support is rendered useless, yet she's still a decent refresher.

Finally, Gullveig seems to be the weakest of the batch. She's not that good of a Defense Mythic for Anima Season, nor her fodder ages the best, again due to BOL 4 (how many do I have to mention that monstrosity?).

HOSHIDAN SUMMER IS BACK

After 6 years of hiatus since the last banner, Hoshidan Summer has finally returned, and I can't be happier than that. This time, we're getting more attention to some Tellius favorites, followed by two of the Fates royals.

Mia looks pretty excited for the fireworks, and she holds a gigantic cotton candy that I find it hilarious. She's an axe flier this time, with a lot of bulk, and she has built-in Distant Counter & Iote's Shield. Better be a call for more omni-tank fliers!

Next in line, we have Lucia with her waist-length hair, as in Path of Radiance. Her artwork looks stunning as do Suzuki Rika's other works, and she appears to be a lance infantry though. Expect this a side-upgrade of her base version, while we're looking forward to her base kit.

Leo fans must be enjoying their cheery moments, as they're getting another alt back-to-back. He's going to be the demote of this batch, with an inheritable colorless tome, that means another demote I don't care in general.

Then, we have the quote-on-quote star of this banner, Nephenee! Oh boy, her fans must be screaming their lungs out already, as it's been 5 years since her actual alt, and I can't deny that she truly deserves it. She's a Harmonized red tome flier, with...Sakura? Why? What does she do that makes her backpacked twice? It feels so wrong.

Last but not least, we have Takumi as the next Grail unit, which brings up to two Takumi options for F2P.

Nephenee seems to have a built-in Sweep effect as well as a status that bypasses Scowl effects, which are quite strong. She may be an enticing pick, but we'll have to wait for the trailer and see if she's as crazy as it seems. I'm looking forward to hearing more from these units!

Miscellaneous Updates:

These are shown to be part of the next version update, and it brings some tweaks to certain events.

We're getting more Arena Maps, and they're quite a hustle to play with. As usual, they are unfriendly towards cavs because why not? Besides, both teams are positioned at the top and bottom corners like Summoner Duels, and it's getting harder to position your units because of Emblem Celica. Great! You're now making Arena even worse than before.

Next is United Warfront, which now adds the Abyssal difficulty to round up the difficulty lineup for Legendary & Mythic Hero Battles.

Next, Heroes' Journey is getting easier to play, as we get twice the Memento Events, and that we only need 10 Memory Fragments to unlock one event. It's a nice change with less grinding, and perhaps FEH's trying to entice us to play more of this event.

Legendary & Mythic Hero Remixes (RANT INCOMING)

Now, let's talk about the awaited Remix batch, and I want to reiterate that we've come to the point where Legendary & Mythic heroes are getting refines faster than before. Heck, we're already reaching Book 6 at this point, and they're still so many other older Normal & Special Heroes from Books 4 to 5 who haven't received their refines yet. In fact, to think that CYL6 is next in line of getting their refines, it's so preposterous!

I know these heroes from Otr to Nanna are outdated on their own, but do they really have to give them refines faster, and they end up useless again in the long term? After all, they seriously need to do something with the Remix pool, now that it's getting bloated than ever after these unnecessary additions.

Otherwise, STOP TREATING THOSE F****** SEASONALS LIKE SOME SPOILED CHILDREN AND GIVE REFINES TO MORE OTHER HEROES!! The state of Remix banners is just maddening, the more I think about them, like seriously, will we ever get a refine for Ninjorrin or S!Edelgard before the Emblems or even worse, end of service?

Now, let's take some nice deep breaths, as we're getting into Claude and Ullr's remixes this month.

Legendary Claude has Fallen Star II which now works like Deep Star, but better. It grants him Flat DMG & Flat DR depending on the no. of Bonus effects on himself as well as Penalty effects on his foe. Additionally, the 80% DR now works for Brave hits.

What's more, he now has Guidance 4 in his C slot which is great, especially for those who saved up their Claude manuals can now have easy access to this skill, and that they can duplicate it via their favorite Rearmed/Attuned units.

Ullr's is getting some decent treatment as well, with Yngvi Ascendant+ granting Potent and full NFU. She also gets Atk/Spd Oath 4 as her alternative C skill, which implies that she may have built-in Time's Pulse in her weapon.

Hopefully Claude gets better as he once was, and Ullr may get the short end of the stick for being combat-oriented.

4* Special Bloat Ain't Over

It's the only change to the pool I can accept, as we don't have to worry about these units breaking our pity rate anymore. On the other hand, the 4* Special Rate pool is becoming more like a huge gashapon that would soon break the Guinness World Record for having the hardest pool to pull from for a specific unit. Good luck for trying to get that one Ascendant Floret!

Last but not least, everyone can spark on Weekly Revival banners. It's a nice implementation, but I wish they could expand this mechanic to Special Hero Revivals too. It's the closest we'll ever get to a QOL update on summoning this year.

Conclusion

Overall, I have polarizing opinions about this FEH Channel, because of my dissatisfaction with the constant bloating of Legendary & Mythic Remix banners, before Normals & Special would get their refines. Other than that, I'm expecting more for QOL updates on summoning, and I can't wait to find out what does Hoshidan Summer have in store.

It's quite a long one to complete, like the rest of my posts on FEH Channel, so thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts on this not-so great FEH Channel. Be sure to save your orbs!
